The NFL Draft is still wide open for the Green Bay Packers who have nine remaining selections and two on Day 2–one in each the second and third rounds. After drafting cornerback Eric Stokes in the first round, they could still go back to that well if they so choose and it will be interesting to see how this plays out. They’ve already shown us their draft board doesn’t match up with the public analysts.

There are a number of surprising players still remaining entering Day two including defensive tackle Christian Barmore, wide receiver Elijah Moore, offensive tackle Teven Jenkins and safety Trevon Moehrig to name a few. However, those players will all likely be gone by the time Green Bay is on the clock with the 30th pick (and 62nd overall) in the second round. With Green Bay hoping to set the Aaron Rodgers’ saga aside, here are five players they could target at the end of the second round.

The Green Bay Packers should prioritize selecting one of these five players in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Quinn Meinerz, OG/C, Wisconsin-Whitewater

The Packers need to replenish their offensive line pool after losing Corey Linsley, Lane Taylor and Bryan Bulaga in free agency the last two years. Quinn Meinerz is one of the best stories in this year’s class and can play as well. He’d give Green Bay even more flexibility on the line and give them four solid players in Elgton Jenkins, Lucas Patrick and Jon Runyan Jr.

Dyami Brown, WR, North Carolina

The Packers should probably give Rodgers some help early in the draft otherwise he might truly freak out. Dyami Brown can put his foot in the ground and separate himself from the defensive back in a hurry. His acceleration and quickness are what separates him from both corners and his peers in this draft. He might have to play in the slot early in his career until he improves his strength, but that fits for the Packers in Year 1.

Walker Little, OT, Stanford

More than interior help on the offensive line, the Packers need some more help on the outside. David Bakhtiari might be available to start the season and even if he is depth is a major issue. Walker Little will need a year or two to make up for lost time, but that’s something Green Bay could potentially offer him with Bakhtiari and Turner still on the roster. He has the potential to develop into a solid starting right tackle.

Brady Christensen, OT, BYU

Sticking with the offensive line, Brady Christensen is another guy to keep your eye on. In the mold of Elgton Jenkins, Christensen is an older prospect who could be ready to play early on in his NFL career. He’s solid in pass protection and is able to stay in front of his man effectively. He’s also an adequate run-blocker and should turn into a starting-caliber player.

Amari Rodgers, WR, Clemson

Amari Rodgers’ position might best be described as an offensive weapon. He could line up all over the field for the Packers and give head coach Matt LaFleur a lot of flexibility to work with. He has great hands and is extremely dangerous in the open field once he gets the rock. He can also contribute on special teams. Rodgers might be a lifelong slot receiver, but that’s okay considering the other receivers Green Bay currently has on their roster. He has a lot of traits scouts and coaches love and could be the pick at no. 62.
