Free Agent to avoid 3: T.J. Carrie, Cornerback

If Green Bay does open up their wallet in free agency, cornerback is likely at the very top of their board. Kevin King is a free agent and the other corners on the roster (other than Jaire Alexander, of course) didn’t exactly prove to be reliable throughout the 2020 season.

Thankfully, this free agent class appears fairly deep at cornerback which means they can stay far away from T.J. Carrie. He comes in 114th out of 155 in PFF coverage grades over the last three years, not exactly what Green Bay needs. Although he can play on both the outside and in the slot, he’s now four years removed from his best coverage season and is about to be 31.
