From worst to best, let’s rank the potential opponents the Green Bay Packers could face in the Divisional round of the playoffs.

The Green Bay Packers are the lone NFC playoff team that doesn’t have to play this weekend. Although they are getting plenty of rest and healing up, that doesn’t mean they’re just sitting on their butts all week taking a vacation. Instead, head coach Matt LaFleur has them preparing for a huge Divisional round matchup with a to be determined foe.

The Packers certainly have rooting interests this weekend. It’s not as if they can’t beat any of their four projected opponents, it’s just that the odds will be even more in their favor depending on who comes out on top. Since Green Bay won the top seed, they’ll face the lowest remaining seed in the playoffs, so let’s rank them with four being the worst-possible matchup to one being the best.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Packers already got smacked by the Bucs earlier in the year and this would be by far their most difficult matchup in the Divisional Round. Tampa has been clicking on all cylinders lately and they present unique issues for Green Bay. Offensively, they have one of the best wide receiver corps in the NFL in Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown. And their defensive front already gave the Packers fits and that was when they had David Bakhtiari. This is certainly a winnable game for the Packers, but it would be a huge test.
