These three members of the Green Bay Packers must be ready to rise to the occasion following David Bakhtiari’s season-ending injury.

The Green Bay Packers received horrible news on Thursday when it was reported stud left tackle David Bakhtiari suffered a season-ending knee injury. Even worse, it’s believed to be a torn ACL which means it would likely affect his status next season as well.

The Packers have been hitting their stride lately–winning five straight games–and have their eyes set on a Super Bowl. However, losing Bakhtiari will do nothing but make that already difficult task much more complicated. With one game remaining in the regular season and then the playoffs, these three players must be ready to step up in Bakhtiari’s absence.

3. Billy Turner

One of the reasons the Packers signed Billy Turner in free agency in 2019 was due to his versatility to play all over the offensive line. Ideally, they’d love to keep him at right guard, but his ability to play multiple positions will definitely be needed now. Heading into Week 17, Turner has played171 snaps at left tackle, 244 at right guard and 423 at right tackle. With Rick Wagner also battling an injury, it’s unclear how Green Bay will fill their offensive line, but whatever they do, Turner will be ready.
