It’s recommended the Green Bay Packers accomplish these five tasks in order to secure a victory over the Detroit Lions in Week 14.

The Green Bay Packers probably need to run the table to have a spot at the top seed in the NFC. As the standings sit heading into Sunday’s matchups, they trail the New Orleans Saints by one game, but have the tie-breaker over them after defeating them earlier in the season.

With the Saints playing the lowly Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay must take care of their business against the Detroit Lions. And in order to do so, here are five recommendations for them to leave Ford Field with a victory.

5. Limit special teams blunders

The Packers’ special teams have been awful over the last handful of games. You name the mistake and they’ve made it including missed extra points, punt returns for touchdowns, offsides on kickoffs–the list goes on. This won’t be something that just turns around dramatically for them, but it will be helpful if they can at least get the ship pointed in the right direction. The addition of Tavon Austin in the return game should provide a boost, but we need to see more from their coverage units.
