Here are three bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers’ Week 13 matchup at Lambeau Field with the Philadelphia Eagles.

It’s been way too long, so I did some digging, dusted off the crystal ball, and now we are ready to make some bold predictions once again.

Truthfully, this is another game that the Green Bay Packers should win quite easily — we will get to that shortly — as they are facing a Philadelphia Eagles team that has been abysmal on offense and sits at 3-7-1 on the season. However, this is a Philly defense — especially the defensive front — that shouldn’t be taken lightly. And as we’ve seen against teams like Minnesota and Jacksonville, no win is guaranteed.

So before these two teams take the field on Sunday, I’ve decided to make three bold predictions for the game. It’s been several weeks, so I might be a little rusty, but let’s see how things turn out for me and the Green Bay Packers.

Green Bay Packers win by three scores

As I just mentioned, this is an Eagles’ offense that has struggled all season behind poor offensive line play and a broken Carson Wentz. By Football Outsiders’ DVOA metric, they rank 29th overall while their 21.5 points per game ranks 25th. And I know I just said to watch out for this Eagle defense, which is true; however, the Packers faced two of the top-5 defenses by DVOA these last two weeks, and for six of the eight quarters, the offense looked unstoppable.

So basically, I still expect the Green Bay offense to put up points, and even though the defense has had its issues, they’ll force enough punts and turnovers that this game turns into a blowout. Similar to what we saw last Sunday against Chicago.
