It was recently announced that the Milwaukee Bucks will get the 42nd pick in the 2020 NBA draft in their trade with the Pelicans, so let’s look at who they could get at that spot.

It was a roller coaster of emotions Monday night as the Milwaukee Bucks made two huge trades to acquire Jrue Holiday and Bogdan Bogdanovic. While they gave up multiple future first-round picks for Holiday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reported on Twitter that they did get two second-round picks for this year’s draft in the deal.

The higher of those picks is the number 42 selection, which we’ll talk about here. If you want my extensively researched list of players we could get with the 60th and final pick; here it is: Markus Howard.

Now that that’s taken care of, we can move onto the real list. The Bucks, at this point, have a starting five and essentially no bench pieces. They’ll need a backup point guard to handle the ball and facilitate, a wing who can defend and shoot the three well, and a big who can ideally protect the paint and shoot it from deep.

I’ve picked out two guys that fit each of these descriptions and could be available around when the 42nd pick comes around for a total of six options. We’ll jump right into it with the point guards.
