The Green Bay Packers are projected to win fairly easily against the Jaguars, but they’ll have to win a few crucial matchups to do so.

The 1-7 Jacksonville Jaguars are coming to town in what should be a game that the Green Bay Packers win without much difficulty.  However, football is still a game of matchups, and they’ll have to win those situations to win the game.

The Jaguars are fully capable of pulling off an upset as they did beat the Indianapolis Colts week one, and with those Colts coming up next week, this is a classic trap game for the Green Bay Packers. They need to stay focused and be able to go out there and take care of business at home this week. It will be a fairly cold and likely rainy day at Lambeau. In the Packers’ loss to the Vikings, the elements played a big role, and they have to manage that as well.

The Jaguars defense is one of the worst in the league, with their 418 yards per game given up ranking second-worst in the NFL. They do, however, have a couple of playmakers that could change the game. The Jaguars offense managed to remain steady under Jake Luton last week in his first career start, and the Packers shaky defense will have to do enough to keep them contained and get Aaron Rodgers back on the field.
