Before the Green Bay Packers take the field against the Houston Texans, here are five big questions heading into Sunday’s matchup.

On to Houston. That’s about all the Green Bay Packers could say after last week’s ugly loss in Tampa Bay. By now, the tape has been looked at, hopefully burned, and the Packers have been preparing for a Houston Texans team that has way more talent than their 1-5 record would suggest.

As I do every week before Green Bay takes the field, I have my five BIG questions about the upcoming matchup. So without further ado, let’s dive on in.

Will the Green Bay Packers bounce back?

I’ll start with the question that I’m sure is on everyone’s mind, will the Packers rebound against Houston? After rolling to four relatively easy wins behind what was the NFL’s most productive offense, Green Bay was punched in the mouth by Tampa Bay and surrendered 38 straight points after taking an early 10-0 lead.

Offensively, the run game struggled to get going, which had a negative trickle-down effect to the passing game, not to mention that Aaron Rodgers was under constant pressure. On the defensive side of the ball, Green Bay failed to pressure Tom Brady, and he was able to pick apart Mike Pettine’s soft zone coverage.

The good news is that the Packers have never lost back-to-back games under Matt LaFleur. And on the schedule, this week is a Houston defense that has been one of the worst against the run. All the ingredients for a bounce-back week are there, now let’s see if Green Bay can do it again.
