Here are five bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers’ Week six contest against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Green Bay Packers return to action following their bye week with a slobber knocker against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Although two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks in Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady will grab the majority of the headlines, this could also be a preview of a future playoff matchup. To help us prepare, let’s get a little funky and make five bold predictions for the game.

5. Aaron Jones will rack up over 100 total yards

Aaron Jones is quietly one of the best all-around running backs in the NFL. He’s a fluid runner who has good shiftiness and speed and has shown off his receiving chops in recent weeks due to the lack of available wide receivers for the Packers. He’s gone over 100 total yards in two of their four games this season, and he’ll do it again against the Bucs’ speedy defense. Without star defensive lineman Vita Vea there will be a few more running lanes opened for Jones to exploit.

4. Jaire Alexander will pick off Tom Brady

Tom Brady isn’t prone to making mistakes, never throwing more than 14 interceptions in a single season. However, he already has four this year, including two of them being returned for touchdowns. On the other side of the football is Jaire Alexander, PFF’s highest-rated cornerback in 2020. Alexander will be chomping at the bit to get his hands on a Brady-thrown pass and will be successful in doing so.

3. Mike Evans will have 100+ receiving yards

Mike Evans is officially listed as questionable with a gimpy ankle and is a game-time decision. If he plays, he should be in line for a big day. Kevin King, the Packers’ cornerback who matches up best with Evans considering his size, is also questionable. If King is out, that would make it difficult for the 5-foot-10 Alexander to slow down the 6-foot-5 Evans, leading to a huge performance by the Bucs’ wide receiver.

2. Davante Adams will have 10+ catches for over 100 yards

Speaking of top wide receivers, Green Bay is officially getting Davante Adams back. Adams has been missing in action since he had a slight hamstring strain in Week 2. In the only full game he’s played this season, he hauled in 14 receptions for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Expect Aaron Rodgers to target him early and often in this contest.

Next. Packers: 3 X-factors against Tampa Bay. dark

1. Packers win by a touchdown or more

The Bucs are also coming off a mini-bye, having last played on Thursday Night football a week and a half ago. No matter, Green Bay is simply the better all-around team and will give Tampa fits all game long. Rodgers and company are healthier coming off their own bye week and are getting some major players back on both sides of the ball. As I predicted in Dairyland Express’s staff predictions, Green Bay will win by a touchdown or more and move to 5-0.
