The Green Bay Packers’ 53-man roster is set, but on Monday, there were still several moves and workouts that took place. Here is what you need to know.

As I’m sure everyone is aware, just this last Saturday, the Green Bay Packers – along with the rest of the NFL – set their initial 53-man rosters. However, that doesn’t mean GM Brian Gutekunst is done making moves or tinkering with the roster.

While many of us enjoyed Monday off for Labor Day Weekend, the Packers and Gutey were making moves. So if you missed any of the action, I’ll catch you up right here.

Green Bay Packers move Martin and Ento to IR

Kamal Martin and Kabion Ento both made the initial 53-man roster, but moving them to injured reserve was expected. Martin recently underwent knee surgery that will keep him out for 6-8 weeks, while Ento had foot surgery.

Both players will have the opportunity to return once healthy, but these moves left two spots open on the 53-man roster to fill. And the Packers didn’t waste any time filling one of those slots.
