These two newest members of the Green Bay Packers were released by their former teams, but now find themselves on the Packers’ practice squad.

One of the most nerve-wrenching days in the NFL is finally over. After hundreds of players across the league waited for devastating news on Saturday while hoping for the best, the Green Bay Packers and others have taken another step toward finalizing their roster after shoring up their practice squad.

There were no major surprises with cuts on Saturday, with fan-favorite Jake Kumerow being one minor exception. That trend continued on Sunday with waiver claims, as Green Bay didn’t shake up their roster too much. They did lose Kumerow to the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad, but were able to bring back most of their own guys.

There were two exceptions, as the Packers added an outside player at inside linebacker and wide receiver. Without spoiling who they are, it’s safe to say each player is intriguing and could work their way onto the Packers’ 53-man roster at some point this season. Without further ado, meet the two newest Packers.
