The Green Bay Packers will have to make their final cuts on Saturday. So here are three potential surprises that we could see.

We’ve almost made it! The Green Bay Packers Week 1 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings is less than two weeks away, but that also means final roster cuts are just around the corner as well.

NFL rosters will have to be trimmed from 80 players down to the usual 53 by this Saturday and especially in an offseason with limited time in the building and limited time on the practice field, these already difficult decisions are even tougher.

When it comes to the Packers, by all accounts they’ve had a very solid training camp. Aaron Rodgers has looked excellent, young players like Rashan Gary and Marquez Valdes-Scantling have risen to the occasion, while the likes of Darrius Shepherd and Kamal Martin have surprised.

However, on the flip side, there are those other players who haven’t taken that step forward, or perhaps it’s just simply time to go in a different direction. This can lead to a surprise cut, and with those decisions looming, here at Dairyland Express, we’ve each picked one well-known player whose time in Green Bay could be coming to an end.
