The defensive line is the next position group up in the best and worst-case scenarios for every Green Bay Packers’ player.

The defensive line was one of the weak spots of the Green Bay Packers’ defense last year, and that showed painfully true in the NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers, where they got consistently ran over in the trenches.

So they got someone to help that in the draft, right? Or maybe a proven veteran free agent? No, neither of those. Instead, they have decided to run it back with essentially the same group with only two new guys, Treyvon Hester, who has done very little in three NFL seasons and undrafted rookie Willington Previlon.

They are relying on other guys like Kingsley Keke to step up and make a big jump in Year 2 to give Kenny Clark some help at the point of attack. Clark is the exception to the rule about this defensive line. He is one of the best interior linemen in the league in the run and pass game and holds up this group the best he can.

The three returning starters, Kenny Clark, Dean Lowry, and Tyler Lancaster, will come in looking to hold onto their starting spots. Montravius Adams and Kingsley Keke didn’t see much time last season with the Packers and will try to step into bigger roles this year. Finally, Willington Previlon and Treyvon Hester will try to come in and make an impact.
