NFL training camps are finally here, so I have three roster predictions for the Green Bay Packers.

This year, training camps certainly look much different than what they have in the past, and in the city of Green Bay, it just doesn’t have the same feeling either. Under normal circumstances, players are riding bikes over to a packed Ray Nitschke Field for practice in front of several thousand fans. But not in 2020.

Instead, players and coaches have undergone coronavirus testing and are doing walkthroughs, as they try to make up some of the time that was lost earlier in the offseason.

However, just because it looks different and may feel different, training camps are, in fact, here. And when it comes to the Green Bay Packers, for a team that went 13-3 last season while making it to the NFC Championship Game, after an offseason that left many scratching their heads, they have their fair share of doubters entering the new season.

While Week 1 is only about a month away, before we can get there, training camps, of course, have to be completed, rosters have to be trimmed, and practice squads have to be set as well.

So when it comes to how the Green Bay Packers’ roster – or any team for that matter – with limited practice time and no preseason games, it’s even more difficult than usual to know how things are going to shake out in a few weeks.

But when it comes to their final roster, I have three predictions that I’m going to make. I wouldn’t call any of them bold, but these aren’t gimmes either. Let’s see how many, or if any, that I get right.
