Here’s an early look at a few Badgers’ draft prospects that should be on the radar for the Green Bay Packers during the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers are two of the most storied programs in their respective leagues. Fourteen former Badgers have gone on to play for the Packers and a few have worked out.

Natrell Jamerson, Connor Sheehy, Jared Abbrederis, Vince Beigel, and Scott Tolzien have all spent time with the Green Bay Packers recently

Then there was Mark Tauscher who was taken by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He spent eleven years protecting the blindside of both Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers, and he is now a member of the Green Bay Packer’s Hall of Fame. The Packers hoped to find a repeat in Bill Ferrario in 2001 but that didn’t work out.

Meanwhile, Don Davey, Jeff Dellenbach, Gary Ellerson, Ken Stills, and Randy Wright were all former Badgers and members of the Green Bay Packers during the 1980s and 1990s.

And if we go way back, Ken Bowman was the first Badger to play for the Green Bay Packers and is still one of the best. He was drafted in 1964 and started at center for the Packers during their first two Super Bowls.

Looking ahead to the 2020 season, the current Wisconsin Badgers are primed for another big year. The roster contains three players that have huge expectations for the coming season and can fill some holes for the Green Bay Packers if they take advantage of the opportunities in front of them.
