The Wisconsin Football program lands another 2021 commit. This time it is 3-star cornerback, Ricardo Hallman from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Over the last month or so we’ve seen the Wisconsin Football program receive commitments from 4-star recruits Jack Pugh and T.J. Bollers, along with commitments from 3-star recruits Darryl Peterson and Mike Jarvis. Well, today the 2021 class lands their 15th commitment from 3-star cornerback Ricardo Hallman from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Along with the Badgers; Arkansas, Iowa State, Ole Miss, and Penn State were among Hallman’s final choices, but as many expected, he ends up choosing Wisconsin. In addition to those handful of schools, Hallman also had offers from Baylor, Michigan, and Miami.

During his junior season, Hallman totaled a whopping eight interceptions along with 17 tackles. And according to 247Sports composite rankings, he is the 44th ranked overall cornerback in the class of 2021. Below are his hudl highlights from this past season:

As the Wisconsin Football program’s 15th commitment, Hallman joins an already stout 2021 recruiting class. Prior to Hallman’s commitment, the Badgers were ranked13th nationally and 4th in the Big Ten Conference. They should now jump both LSU and Iowa who were ranked 12th and 11th, respectively, once Hallman is factored into 247Sports’ calculations.

The 2020 class set program records with a national ranking of 26th along with five 4-star commitments. However, with five 4-star commitments of their own, the 2021 class has already tied that record and they look like they could very well end up with the highest national ranking for Wisconsin Football in the Online Rankings Era.

As the recruiting process marches on, a few names to keep your eyes on moving forward include 5-star offensive lineman Nolan Rucci, 3-star wide receiver Skyler Bell, and 4-star tight end Terrance Ferguson who will be making his commitment announcement this Friday the 26th.

But for now, the Badgers get another excellent addition with Ricardo Hallman.
