The Green Bay Packers were 13-3 last season, but their roster may look very different just three seasons from now, so let’s look at how things may change in that time.

There are certainly a lot of questions about how the Green Bay Packers will shape up with many free agent decisions looming after the next season. Those are definitely important, but there are even more decisions to me made in the next few years. At the top of the list is the Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love dilemma.

With the pick of Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, it set a timer for a decision to be made between the two quarterbacks. This could very well come to a head in the offseason before the 2022 season.

With the decisions that the Packers have to make on their own players that will become free agents in future offseasons, they will also sign new free agents. With Ted Thompson, this was never a foregone conclusion, but Brian Gutekunst has shown that he will attack holes on the roster in free agency.

They will also have the next couple of drafts to fill out the rest of the roster anywhere they see possible improvement. While I will take a look at specific free agents that will be on the market in the next few years, it is too early to make any predictions on specific draft prospects.

Instead, I’ll look at what positions they will use high value picks on and which positions will be filled out with later-round picks. We’ll start with offensive weapons and move through each position, looking at current players, possible free agent acquisitions, and draft picks.
