On Day 3 of the NFL Draft, here are some names to keep your eyes on at key positions of need for the Green Bay Packers.

Well, it’s certainly been an interesting start to the NFL Draft for the Green Bay Packers. None of the perceived major needs have been addressed at this point and instead, they’ve selected the eventual successor to Aaron Rodgers and have begun a shift to a more run-oriented offense.

However, on Day 3 of the draft the Packers still have six selections, so they still have plenty of opportunities to add some new players to the mix at those positions of need. But it’s worth pointing out that all six picks are in the fifth round or later – barring a trade – so we shouldn’t be expecting any of these prospects to come in and make a significant impact in 2020. At this point, they are all lottery tickets and we hope one or two of them pay off.

And of course, the positions that I’m referring to include wide receiver, tackle, interior defensive lineman, linebacker, cornerback. and interior offensive lineman. But honestly, who knows what direction Green Bay is going to go at this point. Either way, here are some names to keep your eyes on today at those key positions.
