We often talk about 3 prospects we’d love to see the Green Bay Packers select in the draft, but here are 3 players they should avoid early on.

We are just one day away from the NFL Draft and naturally, much of the time leading up has been focused on prospects that we would love to see the Green Bay Packers select. Some of the fan favorites include Justin Jefferson, Jalen Reagor, and Brandon Aiyuk at receiver. Along with Kenneth Murray and Patrick Queen at linebacker. Not to mention Ross Blacklock and Josh Jones, among others.

This is a Packers team that was just one game shy of making it to the Super Bowl last season and with a solid draft that lands them an impact player or two within the first few rounds, well, that could be all it takes to get them back to the mountain top in 2020.

So as always, they can’t afford to miss on these early draft picks. And while I’ve already mentioned who some of those immediate impact players could be, on the flip side, who are the players that Green Bay should avoid in the first two rounds?

Although we ultimately won’t know for a few seasons whether their early selections were the correct ones, and just because the players listed above seem to make sense for Green Bay now, it doesn’t mean that they’ll be successful in the NFL. The same goes for the players that the Packers should avoid, they may turn out to be perennial Pro Bowlers.

However, given the needs that Green Bay has, along with where these prospects could be selected, I recommend staying away early on and taking someone else.
