8. Deebo Samuel, WR, South Carolina

There are a number of wide receivers (four) on this list and for good reason. The Packers should give Rodgers as many weapons as possible heading down the stretch run of his career. It will make things easier for the veteran quarterback, especially if he has to continuously deal with injuries.

Deebo Samuel is entering his final season at South Carolina after missing almost all of 2017. That makes this campaign especially important, as he works to show scouts what he can do. Looking back at his sophomore year in 2016, Samuel recorded 59 receptions for 783 yards. The downfall is he only had one touchdown catch. However, in just three games last year, he hauled in three so we will see how that goes in 2018.

Samuel excels at running routes and is one of the most polished in the draft. He uses the great route-running to get open and then high points the ball beautifully. He also possesses great hands, something that will be welcome after J’Mon Moore.
