5. Jake Kumerow has another TD

Jake Kumerow has been the sweetheart of the Packers’ training camp so far. And that even carried over into the first preseason game as well when he recorded three receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown was a 52-yarder and one of three receptions by Packers’ receivers that went for 48 or more yards against the Titans.

Even with his great performance, Kumerow is still a long shot to make the roster considering the depth Green Bay has at the position. Nonetheless, that won’t stop him from grabbing another garbage time touchdown reception against the Steelers.

With Davante Adams and Randall Cobb likely to be severely limited, Kumerow should get consistent reps throughout the game. This means he’ll spend time with each of the three quarterbacks; Brett Hundley, DeShone Kizer and Tim Boyle. These reps will give Kumerow the opportunity to catch another touchdown and he’ll capitalize on his big moment.
