The Green Bay Packers have a big season ahead of them. Several big games will decide whether they are Super Bowl bound, or if they are just a playoff team.

The Green Bay Packers kicked off their preseason, and they are pushing towards the regular season. Players are fine-tuning their skills to be ready when the games start to count. The Packers coaches have a daunting task ahead of them. Based on last season’s records, the team has been dealt the most difficult schedule in the NFL. There are some pretty stout teams slated to take on the Pack in the 2018-19 season.

Ever since the start of the NFL, units of elite players have come together organically or by way of force. The Legion of Boom, Purple People Eaters and Steel Curtain abused the NFL during their respective heydays. The Packers will come to face some modern monsters on both sides of the ball this season. With Aaron Rodgers under center, all things are possible. They are just a lot more difficult against certain groups.

The Packers are working to develop their own elite groups. Rodgers will give any team fits. However, the team doesn’t yet have another group that will make opposing coordinators shudder in fear of the possible damage. While the Packers work on their units, let’s discuss the ones that Joe Philbin and Mike Pettine will be worried about this season.
