5. Corey Linsley
It’s extremely difficult for an offensive lineman to win any award where there are candidates from other positions, however, Corey Linsley might be the exception.
After solidifying himself as the starter going into last season, he failed to capitalize on the momentum. He’s freakishly strong and has a very solid base that usually allows him to get great leverage. He’s especially good at using that strength in the run game. Unfortunately, he had a very down season and was disappointing by most measures.
The good news is the potential and skill to bounce back is still there. He’s a young player and can hopefully regain his focus in order to anchor this offensive line. With the starters on the right side remaining unknown, Linsley will get off to a fast start in training camp to prove last year was a total fluke.
