5. Jesus Aguilar

Jesus Aguilar is one of the most fun players on the Brewers to watch. No matter what he’s doing or what position he’s playing, he has this innate ability to draw a reaction out of someone. It certainly lightens things up in the dugout and on the field.

More from Milwaukee Brewers

This positive aura around him is just one of the many reasons he’s irreplaceable for the Brewers. He keeps things light for everyone. All of the other reasons, however, have to do with his ability to perform on the field and at the plate.

His defense is an interesting topic of conversation. For those who haven’t paid much attention and only go by reputation, they might say he’s one of the worst fielders in the MLB. However, he’s proven he can be a much more reliable defender than originally projected. Will he ever win a Gold Glove? Probably not, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be adequate on the field.

His bat is what truly makes him special. He’s jumped all over the opportunity given to him this season and is one of the most reliable hitters Milwaukee has. If he continues to put up big numbers, his name could slowly and legitimately enter the NL MVP conversation by season’s end.
