Against: Bad locker room presence
Everywhere Howard has gone, there appears to have been locker room issues that he was at least a part of. Whether it be the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks or the Hornets, there’s been one common denominator.
With the youth the Bucks have in Brogdon, DJ Wilson, Donte DiVincenzo, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Maker, they can ill-afford to have a negative presence in the locker room. Jason Terry might be the only true veteran who could go above and beyond to help reel Howard in.
Antetokounmpo would be the one who especially worries me. Howard was drafted by the Orlando Magic back in 2004 and played his first eight seasons there. However, he forced his way out because he was unhappy with the organization. As Bucks’ fans, that’s the last thing we want with our superstar.
