1. T.J. Edwards, linebacker

T.J. Edwards is billed as one of the top inside linebackers in next year’s class and could see his draft stock rise as a result.

He’s been a steady performer from Day 1 for the Badgers, having played in 40 games and compiling 254 career tackles. He keeps getting better and better every season and will certainly look to reach the century mark in tackles this season.

Wisconsin will be depending a lot on him for leadership and on the field results in 2018. He will really have every opportunity to prove himself and increase his stock even more. As it sits, he could hear his name called in the middle of the first round if everything goes his way.

Wisconsin has a lot to play for as a collective unit this season, as they look to make that jump from a good to a great team and burst into the College Football Playoff. However, these five players also have other motivations on a more personal level. Let’s hope it works out for them.
