Five former Wisconsin Football players were drafted in the 2018 NFL Draft. Who went where along with the undrafted free agent signings.

Five former Wisconsin football players were selected in the 2018 NFL Draft, while another three guys were signed as undrafted free agents. For those of us who struggle with math, that makes eight total Badgers from last year’s team who will have a chance to make an NFL roster in 2018.

Of the players who were draft eligible, that leaves only Conor Sheehy who has yet to find a home. The good news for the former defensive tackle is there’s still plenty of time for him to catch on with an NFL squad.

Although Wisconsin didn’t see any of their players go in the first two days of the draft, they had a busy Day 3 with Nick Nelson kicking things off in the fourth round. He was followed by Troy Fumagalli and Natrell Jamerson in the fifth, Jack Cichy in the sixth and Leon Jacobs in the seventh.

Alec James, Garret Dooley and Austin Ramesh then signed with teams after the draft was over.

As they begin to get accustomed to their new teams, let’s also take the time to check out their new situations and predict their chances of making a roster to begin the 2018 NFL season.
