Green Bay Packers: 10 questions remaining after 2018 NFL Draft
5. Who will fill in on the right side of the offensive line?
Now, we move on to the offensive questions and we begin with the heart of the team-the line. The Packers are set on the left side with David Bakhtiari at left tackle, Lane Taylor at left guard and Corey Linsley at center.
It’s the right side where they have their questions. Justin McCray appears poised to take either the right guard or the right tackle spot. Nobody is sure if that’s a good or bad thing. He filled in admirably last season, but doesn’t possess the necessary talent to be a surefire starter in the NFL.
Where he plays will depend on Bryan Bulaga‘s recovery from the torn ACL he suffered in December. If he can return to begin the year, he will be the starting right tackle. If not, the Packers may look to the newly drafted Cole Madison (unlikely), Jason Spriggs or Ulrick John. No matter which way we look at it, the options aren’t great behind Bulaga.
