The Green Bay Packers are prepping for all possibilities leading up to the 2018 NFL Draft so let’s take a look at the worst-case scenario mock draft.

This is the third Green Bay Packers mock draft in three days and the finale in a three-part series for Dairyland Express. On Saturday, we explored a regular version. On Sunday, we examined a best-case scenario for Green Bay. And today, we take a look at the worst-case scenario.

This version takes a look at the draft from a glass-half-empty view and is a very realistic outcome. Especially with the Packers first pick at No. 14, they might just be one or two selections too high to guarantee them an elite defensive player. If that happens, Green Bay might be stuck picking the best player available even if it’s not at a position of need.

Green Bay does meet all their needs in this draft, but it certainly isn’t in the best way. Hopefully, new general manager Brian Gutekunst has a little bit better gameplan than this version (I’m sure he does) and he has some backup options if the board doesn’t fall his way.

Well, without postponing the inevitable for too much longer, let’s dive into this worst-case mock draft.
