1. Connor Williams, OT, Texas

Connor Williams would be a great target for the Packers in the second round. That might seem a little high to go with an offensive lineman, but if Williams slips that far he’d certainly be worth it.

He had a somewhat down senior season at Texas and would’ve been a for-sure first rounder if he came out last year. However, even with his poor season, he has multiple years of sustained success at the tackle position.

His athleticism immediately jumps off the board and would be a huge upgrade to any offensive line he joins. He ran a 5.05 40-yard dash, pumped out 26 reps on the bench press and had a 34-inch vertical leap.

He has some work to do in his pass protection, but has great technique and footwork to improve in that area.

Pro Football Focus has him ranked as their second overall offensive tackle prospect in this year’s draft with a grade of 85.7. While that grade would typically rank him much lower in most classes, it’s still good enough to warrant consideration in the second round.
