4. Wyatt Teller, G, Virginia Tech

Wyatt Teller was a four-year player at Virginia Tech who graded out highly according to PFF all four seasons. Although he took a step back in his senior year, he has nice potential and is projected to go in rounds 3-4.

Teller possesses all the tools necessary to succeed in the NFL and should be able to come in and push McCray for playing time right away. That’s a huge plus for a team who isn’t looking to waste time and accrue a bunch of project players.

Teller is one of the strongest players in this draft (30 reps on the bench press) and uses that to his advantage. If he can get his hands on a defender that man is screwed.

Pass protection is an area of weakness which might be enough cause for pause on the Packers part. Given their gameplan of attacking through the air, it’s sort of counterproductive to draft players who can’t protect the quarterback. The good news is he has the potential to improve in that category.
