Green Bay Packers: 5 offensive lineman to consider in the 2018 NFL Draft

5. Jamarco Jones, OT, Ohio State

I’ve written about Jamarco Jones before and I think he’s a great addition to this list.

Jones is Pro Football Focus’ third-ranked offensive tackle and was given a grade of 84.9. He’s a great pass blocker which bodes well for the pass-heavy Packers. That could be an area where he steps in and is ready to contribute right away.

Run blocking is a whole different game for Jones and he sometimes struggled in that area. But given the current landscape of the NFL, he can skate by without being a dominant run-blocker.

He’s projected to go in the third or fourth round which would be a nice place for Green Bay to select him at. They hold the first pick in the fourth or could even gamble and wait until their compensation picks at the end of the round.

NFL.com is a lot lower on Jones than PFF so it all depends how the Packers see him.
