The Atlanta Hawks will be looking to add depth for a deep playoff run. Would they be willing to part ways with a talented player?

Off The Table

  • Paul Millsap– The All-Star forward is averaging 18 points and 8 rebounds. Millsap would instantly make the Bucks a top-four team in the East. However, any trade involving the 31-year-old would require Jabari Parker or Giannis Antetokounmpo to be involved.
  • Dennis Schroder– The point guard is making team management look good after parting ways with Jeff Teague. Schroder would give Milwaukee an outstanding distributor and capable scorer. The Hawks would not deal him because he is the team’s only quality point guard.

Possibilities

  • Tim Hardaway Jr. – An acquisition of Hardaway Jr. would give the Bucks an offensive upgrade over Tony Snell. However, they would also be downgrading defensively. At only 24 years old, he would add another long, athletic player to the roster. If the Hawks were willing to take John Henson, a deal could be made.
  • Kent Bazemore- During the off-season Kent Bazemore was reportedly on the top of Milwaukee’s shopping list. If the Bucks wanted another chance at Bazemore, they could offer Matthew Dellevadova to shore up the Hawks backup point guard situation.
  • Dwight Howard- Along with Bazemore, the Bucks were said to be interested in Dwight Howard. What made the situation interesting was Howard’s stated interest in coming to Milwaukee. The big man’s defensive presence would help make up for miscues on the perimeter. To acquire Howard the Bucks would need to send multiple players in return. One option would be Greg Monroe and Matthew Dellevadova. However, this seems to be a high price for the battered veteran.

Best Case Scenario

The Milwaukee Bucks can unload John Henson and receive Tim Hardaway  Jr.’s scoring in return.
