Most Disappointing Packers: Lukas Van Ness

The picture above is from Week 1 and is the first and last sack Lukas Van Ness has during his rookie season at the halfway point. Since his Week 1 performance, where he racked up five pressures, including a sack, he’s only accrued two total pressures and zero sacks since (both coming in Week 9 against the Rams).

To be fair, he has been solid against the run. Although he sometimes gets sucked inside, he has held his own on the edge and hasn’t missed a tackle this season. Still, the Packers were hoping for some more flashes from their 2023 first-round pick, especially when Rashan Gary was on a pitch count to begin the season.
