The Green Bay Packers did it! They finally snapped their losing streak after four games and over a month without a victory, after they defeated the Los Angeles Rams 20-3 at Lambeau Field.

The win moved Green Bay to 3-5 on the season while knocking the Rams down to 3-6. It wasn’t always pretty, but it was a necessary win for a young team struggling to keep their head above water during the first half of the season.

Packers Finally Get Aaron Jones Involved

One of the most common phrases ushered by the coaching staff following the Packers’ losses is that they should’ve gotten Aaron Jones the ball more. Game after game, loss after loss, the Packers felt confused that they didn’t get their best player the ball more often.

Well, it finally happened. They rode Jones early and often, and he provided just enough of a spark to help the Packers score 20 points for the first time since Week 4. He had 20 carries for 73 yards a touchdown, while also adding four receptions for 26 yards. It wasn’t always pretty–as was the theme in this game–but he did just enough to get the Packers a W.
