Bucks’ Second Quarter:
Bucks fouled Philadelphia a lot and gave them a ton of free throws. The 76ers finished with 28 free throw attempts on the night.
Milwaukee also got to the line a ton, taking 36 attempts.
From the 4:01 mark in the first quarter to the 8:44 mark of the second quarter (9:17 of game time), the Bucks only scored 10 points.
Milwaukee then made a huge run sparked by Lillard’s insane playmaking and MarJon Beauchamp’s defense.
Bucks were running a V-action with Lillard–two guys screening, one on each side of his defender, almost as soon as he crossed halfcourt. This allowed him to get downhill and attack the roll defender.
Tyrese Maxey was going off to begin the second quarter. Beauchamp entered and shut him down.
Giannis played some point guard with Lillard and Cameron Payne on the bench.
Middleton finished the first half playing 12 minutes, shooting 1-for-4 and finishing with three points, three rebounds and four assists. He only played four second-half minutes.
