Packers on the Hot Seat: Matt LaFleur

If a rising tide lifts all boats, then what does a receding tide do? Sink them?

The Packers’ fanbase quickly turned on LaFleur and has been beginning to call for his job. That’s ludicrous. LaFleur has a four-year history of winning football and helped turn Green Bay around while simultaneously rejuvenating Aaron Rodgers.

Still, there’s no doubt he’s in a funk right now. He hasn’t been able to push the right buttons to get this young team going. Their lack of discipline and knowledge about executing the plays correctly falls on his shoulders. His seat is getting warm, but, as Aaron Nagler is fond of saying, there’s plenty of ballgame left for him to turn it around.
