Packers on the Hot Seat: Jordan Love

Ya’ll knew Jordan Love was going to appear on here at some point. I’m just impressed I lasted until now to include him.

His accuracy is the biggest issue in his game. He tries to get too cute with his arm angles and makes the game more difficult than it has to be. He needs to strike a balance between throwing the ball deep and taking what defenses give him. He hasn’t figured out how to do both effectively.

Of course, the rest of his team isn’t helping him out. The offensive line is a mess–they suddenly can’t protect him, nor can they create space in the running game. His receivers are running the wrong routes. It’s not just Love, but he will get the most pressure as the quarterback.
