Offense Will Suffer

The Bucks are packing some serious offensive firepower with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, two of the NBA’s top offensive talents. Even better, their playing styles seem like a perfect match, particularly in the pick-and-roll. They also have a solid supporting cast to create a potent offensive unit, featuring players like Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Malik Beasley, and others.

When it comes to offense, there’s no doubt the Bucks have the tools to excel, making them a force to be reckoned with in the regular season. However, the heart of their mission is winning in the postseason. To achieve that, they’ll need to wring every ounce of offensive potential from their squad. Given Lillard’s defensive capabilities are less than stellar, and the Bucks currently lack a standout defender to pair with him in the backcourt (with Beasley possibly getting the nod), the pressure is on their offense to outscore the opposition.

Don’t get me wrong; the Bucks will continue to put up points in a hurry. However, there’s no denying they’re worse off without Stotts than they were with him.
