No matter which way you look at it, the Milwaukee Brewers offense has been a major problem the last several seasons. No, not for opposing pitchers. For the team’s chances in the playoffs.

They’ve struggled to put together lineups that can consistently produce runs and lead their team to victories. In 2023, they ranked 22nd in OPS+ and 17th in runs per game. It’s been a frustrating run following an era led by Prince Fielder and Ryan Braun’s prolific offensive output.

Several Brewers’ prospects are rising to the Majors that they hope can become the new wave of talent to help them break out of their multi-year slump. However, players such as Joey Wiemer, Garret Mitchell, Sal Frelick, Brice Turang and others have a lot to prove at the plate.

If the Milwaukee Brewers want to address their offense in free agency, here are eight dream free agents they could target this offseason.

That could be where the Brewers turn to free agency to plug some of their holes while the young players develop. Free agency will start five days after the last game of the World Series, and although it isn’t a deep class, there are still several hitters they could target to right the ship on offense.
