Packers Breakout Candidates: Jaire Alexander

While Rasul Douglas is already enjoying a breakout season as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, it’s time for Jaire Alexander to right the ship.

He’s gotten off to a disappointing start to the season, battling injuries, inconsistent coverage and an unwillingness to help out in the run game at times. If Green Bay wants to achieve their full potential this season, they need their lockdown cornerback to play like he gets paid–as one of the top corners in the NFL. We all know he’s capable of doing so; now it’s time he gets back to playing like it.
