Packers on the Rise: Rudy Ford

Rudy Ford has a legitimate case to be a Pro Bowler through five games this season. Per usual, he’s been stellar in run support. He has no issue getting physical at the line of scrimmage and coming up to make the tackle. He has 31 combined tackles this season and only two misses, both coming in the opening week against the Chicago Bears.

His coverage has also held up. This is the most surprising aspect of his game this season, as he’s struggled mightily in this area in the past. He’s only given up eight receptions on 18 targets for 85 yards and one touchdown. There’s a lot of season left, but he’s off to a great start.
