Packers on the Rise: Isaiah McDuffie

The Packers had their top two middle linebackers settled heading into the season, with De’Vondre Campbell and Quay Walker sitting on top of the depth chart. Unfortunately, injuries have derailed that plan and thrust Isaiah McDuffie into action.

McDuffie has primarily been a special teams player throughout his career, but has been thrust into the heart of the defense this season. Through five games, his 164 snaps on defense is nearly a career-high. Furthermore, he’s been a solid tackler–combining for 16 tackles with only one miss. That’s a welcomed sight for a defense that has had its issues to begin the season.
