Packers Off to Surprising Starts: Zach Tom

With David Bakhtiari out for the season and Elgton Jenkins battling injuries and inconsistent play, Zach Tom has quickly become the bright spot on the Packers’ offensive line through the first five games.

According to PFF, his run blocking has been the best on the team. That’s a welcomed sight for a team that has consistently struggled to open up running lanes this season. He gives them someone they can rely on on the right side of the line.

His pass-blocking still needs some work, as he’s given up a team-high 12 pressures this season. However, considering this is his first year starting at right tackle, he’s off to a nice start.
