The Green Bay Packers hope the extended break during their bye week will allow them to right the ship. Then again, they were expecting the 11-day break between their Week 4 game against the Detroit Lions and Week 5 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders to offer the same reprieve.

At the top of the list of pressing items for the Packers is their health. Through just five games, the following players have missed at least one game: David Bakhtiari, Christian Watson, Aaron Jones, Elgton Jenkins, De’Vondre Campbell, and Jaire Alexander.

That’s a long list of not only starting players for the Packers, but some of their best, most impactful ones. Green Bay was counting on all those guys to have a significant impact this season, but injuries have already limited them.

The Green Bay Packers are staring several pressing items right in the face heading into their Week 5 Bye with a 2-3 record.

Hopefully, playing just one game in a 24-day span will allow them to get Jones, Campbell and others back to 100 percent. It’s just one of several pressing items staring them in the face during their bye week.
