Packers Unsung Heroes: Rudy Ford

The Packers’ safety position is still the biggest weakness on their defense, but Rudy Ford has been playing well to begin the season.

He never has any issue providing run support, where he loves to hit people. He’s second on the team with 35 combined tackles while only missing three. Surprisingly, he’s been good in coverage too, only giving up nine receptions on 17 targets for 88 yards. That’s something the Packers and Ford can build upon coming out of the bye.
