How Can Matt LaFleur Improve the Offense?

Green Bay knew exactly what they were walking into this season with an extremely young and inexperienced offense. And they are leaning heavily on Matt LaFleur and his offensive scheme to guide the way.

Unfortunately, the Packers haven’t looked like a well-coached team through the first five games, often running routes that eliminate any chance at spacing. They’ve also made way too many mental mistakes across the spectrum.

It’s LaFleur’s job to make the game easier for Jordan Love and his playmakers. He needs to follow the steps of his predecessor and draw up some plays that create open looks for his best playmakers in space. He carries more burden than anyone else to get the offense out of their rut.
