Did the Packers Third-Round Curse Strike Again With Tucker Kraft?

The Packers’ Third-Round Curse is real and may have struck again.

In case you’re unfamiliar with it, Green Bay has been awful with their third-round picks for about 13 years. Their third-round picks in that time are Alex Green (2011), Richard Rodgers (2014), Khyri Thornton (2014), Ty Montgomery (2015), Kyler Fackrell (2016), Montravius Adams (2017), Oren Burks (2018), Jace Sternberger (2019), Josiah Deguara (2020), Amari Rodgers (2021) and Sean Rhyan (2022).

It’s only been five games, but there are serious questions about Tucker Kraft as well. He’s been active for every game, but has only played in 61 snaps, catching two passes for five yards. Tight ends usually start their careers slowly so we’ll give him time to work on his craft (pun intended). However, it’s not the best start for a team desperately needing more playmakers.
