5 Packers Who Could Be Traded by 2023 Trade Deadline
Packers Who Could Be Traded: AJ Dillon
Similar to Douglas, just on a much smaller scale, the Packers should trade AJ Dillon with his stock on the rise. Dillon ran 20 times for 76 yards and one touchdown on Monday night against the raiders, the fifth-highest total yards of his career and the second-most since the beginning of the 2022 season.
He looked rejuvenated, running with power and drive throughout the game. The biggest issue was the run-blocking in front of him, as they struggled to create consistent holes for the big back to run through.
Dillon is a free agent after this season and it’s clear the Packers should head in a different direction. They’ll likely have to draft a running back high or sign a veteran free agent on the cheap. They could make up for the draft capital they’ll have to use on the position by trading Dillon for a mid-round pick before the deadline.
